How Can You Get Involved?

In order to raise awareness about the economic and life-saving importance of East Hampton Airport and about the very real threat that the airport could be closed this September, the East Hampton Community Alliance needs your help. Here are a few ways to get involved:

Send a letter to the town

HTO generates millions of dollars for the local economy, provides emergency medical services, and flight instruction for our youth. If East Hampton Airport were to close, the air traffic would simply move to surrounding airports like Montauk. If you’re a resident of East Hampton, click below to let your voice be heard by sending a letter to the East Hampton Town Supervisor.

CONTRIBUTE

In order to raise enough awareness to keep the East Hampton Airport open, we need to expand our print and direct mail campaigns, get our voices heard on both radio and TV, conduct polling research, sponsor community events at the airport and much more. Spread the word

  • Share News Stories: Head over to our Media section and share stories with friend, neighbors, and other concerned community members

  • Share on Social: Check out our Facebook and Instagram and share the content we regularly post to help it get a wider circulation 

  • Word of Mouth: Talk to your friends and neighbors — and help make them aware of the possibility of the East Hampton Airport closing

Put up a Poster
