Gianpaolo de Felice
Gianpaolo de Felice was born and raised in Naples, Italy. During his eight-year tenure as a professional pilot for Alitalia, he met his wife, Gabby Karan, and moved to the United States where he continued to expand on his passion and entrepreneurial drive.
For Gianpaolo, the sky's the limit. In addition to pursuing his career in aviation, he has become a successful restaurateur. He has created southern Italian restaurants in several different locations — Sag Harbor, Southampton, and New York City. The Hamptons restaurants employ over 75 local residents and embody true Italian culture and cuisine.
Gianpaolo owns a home in East Hampton and his children attend school in Sag Harbor. Currently, Gianpaolo balances his restaurant businesses while also sharing his years of aviation experience training other pilots in the Gulfstream IV program at CAE Simuflite. Earlier in his career, Gianpaolo also launched his own charter company based in Teterboro, NJ where he managed and supported his VIP clients. It is important to Gianpaolo that he expresses his roots and shares a part of his home with the local community while bringing awareness to social good efforts. In turn, Gianpaolo and his wife value the importance of the East Hampton community by hosting fundraisers, educational workshops and social events.
