Study confirms disastrous impacts of closing EH Airport (HTO Closure Diversion Study)

The Town of East Hampton commissioned and released its own diversion study that confirms major impacts to our airports and communities:

Key Findings:

• Closing East Hampton Airport will divert 15,794 aircraft to nearby airports annually.

• Montauk could see up to 9,351 additional aircraft annually

• Gabreski could see up to 9,000 additional aircraft annually
